Rear gate lock switch, R&R?

Rear gate lock switch, R&R?
How do I get a rear lock switch out of the rear Toyota plate on the tailgate? Pulled the screws, still firmly attached.
Got a replacement from the classifieds list and it didn't match the key he sent, but figured I needed to learn anyways.
Edit - figured it out - push in the pin, pull it apart. Cake.
