it would appear Downey does sell them separate
the $200 may be worth knowing their built right, and not having to mess with the trial and error of fabing them up
but lets see it there's other options too...
oooh, and I see some nice tie-rod sleeves there too

LOL mine are just stiff. been through some rough terrain i guess..lol they worked well..lol Im thinking of just getting some cheap O's for the mean time. I have the torsion bars down to the max with all new ball joint tie rod ends and pitman arm and just so damn stiff. So im pretty sure the shocks are toast.

are you running stock t-bars, or the Rancho ones?
I bought the Rancho ones with the arms, but I don't know if I want to use them if they're stiffer than stock...

Post #6. If they are in fact 25mm, they are going to be a poke in the eye. The Sway away ones are also 25mm and are pretty universally panned as too stiff. I'd stick with the stockers. My .02.

yeah, that's what I was thinkin; that they would be thinker and net a more harsh ride
the stocker's will do just fine I think
I don't think I'll leave them all the way relaxed though; I may have to raise them to match the rear. In the back I have WabFab 3.5" shackles and I'm going to also be installing some 2" springs probably, so I think I'll net close to a 4" lift front and rear while keeping a decent ride, not to mention a little more clearance once I make the room to tuck 33"s with ease; that's what I'm going to shoot for anyway, I think it'll work out
I have too many plans... this, then tires, then gears and lockers, unless I do the MC font and bumper before that... I have a long road ahead of me, but it's going to be so much fun!
haha, you have a point...

Trust me you will fit 33's just fine. That is what im running without the shackles in the rear and with the t-bars relaxed all the way. I just am waiting to regear to 3.88 these 33's suck trying to get up hills. Im literally toped out at 35 mph. But soon will change

i just got a set of these rancho arms also.
and they didnt come with the shock towers either.
do i need to get the shock towers or a diff drop?
i also have a set of 1.5" bj spacers that i plan to put on.
and what about those tie rod sleeves?
any pics of your progress BLEEDER?

The Rancho UCA's did not come with new shock towers as far as I know, ony becuase of the fact that they, installed by their self, did not require it. The installation of them also does not require a diff drop.
HOWEVER, doubling the lift the UCA's will give you by adding BJ-spacers with them, installing a diff drop and taller upper shock mounts will benefit greatly:
The diff drop will keep the angles of the CV's down, keeping them from binding up, and prolonging the life of both the CV joints AND the boots around them
The taller shock mounts will allow for the installtion of longer shocks to provide room for more travel (more droop than compression probably).
So to further answer you question, you could in fact install either JUST the UCA's, or JUST the BJ-spacers, with no other mods needed, and everything will be fine.

depends on the ride
