Check out the total chaos, I think its the gen2 kit that you can use coilovers with, I honestly think that would be the way to go, I just have a feeling coilovers have a better ride...
EDIT: Looking at the kit that you purchased, They look like they have a huge gap, Anything is possible dude you should deff get it done !!

the only issue I am going to have is getting the time to do it, since it is my DD afterall, and I plan on keeping it that way

I just thought of something else...
I wander if I would be able to make this a coil-over setup and ditch the t-bars all together? I wander if there's enough space between those UCA's?
don't some of the LT kits do that, or is that only on the 2wd's that that's possible?

For instance, put your arm straight out to your side. For theoritical purposes, let's say your elbow is where your tire is on the stock IFS, and your wrist is where the tire is with an LT kit. Move you arm up and down; notice your wrist is moving up and down (traveling) a lot further than your elbow
at least that's how I look at it

LT kits widen your front end because if it didn't it wouldn't increase your travel. The CA is your lever and if your lever isn't longer you won't get any more range than stock. I have no answer to the coilover thing, though. Has anybody retrofitted a 96-04 tacoma front CAs to a 3rd gen front end yet?

I have a 4Crawler 1" diff drop kits as well yet to be installed, so that might help a little
thanks for the info and words of wisdom; yeah I really don't need/want a SAS. It's a pride kinda thing I guess 2 buddies of mine around here have SASed Taco's and one of my friends has a SASed 90, and they keep nagg'n me "When you gunna SAS yours?", and I just keep say'n "Never; I'll just build my IFS up so it'll get me where ever I want to go, and let me ride comfortably on the way back home and back to work the next day!". And for the $$$$ of a LT kit, well that's just rediculous...

Or you going to do them when you install all the parts? Online ball joints, NAPA, or where? I need to buy some BJ's before I do my spacers and diff drop.

their stock lower arms, just painted red although it would appear he may have bashed and bent up the lip on the front of both arms
