yet another obsticle I'm going to have to overcome...

I've seen some slip-yoke styles somewhere before, I'll just have to find them again; or fab some up

IIRC, there was a thread on here not too long ago where the poster had them and managed to find the replacements I believe, but I can't remember who manufactured them...

EDIT:

found the thread
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...v-axle-161173/

could maybe fab something up like that... we'll see... if I could get the flange that bolts to the diff milled, the rest would probably be easy

Ahh, so Downey still might be selling them. I may have to go ahead and pay for one of their catalogs (since they sell much more than they show online)

instead of worring about the 1.5" vs. 1.25" spacers (really... 1/4", c'mon. )
why not shim the droop stop up 1/4-3/8" to limit down-travel... and relax the t-bar a tad?

There is no need to worry about the spacers. I installed mine with same rancho a-arms and there is not a problem at all. The only thing is I had to realign of course, relax torsion bars a bit and do the diff drop. I really didnt need to do the diff drop but at full droop the cv angles were pretty steep, so did it as a precaution.

I just might, and build them in AutoCad, send you the file, and I think you can get a free CAD viewer from AutoCAD's web site

fantastic photo's man!

that's a sick looking truck; that long roll-bar is mean look'n!

a few questions...

1) did you custom fab your upper shock mounts, or purchase a weld-on kit somewhere?

2) what's your steering linkage setup? is it factory with just longer tie-rod sleeves? where's you get the sleeves from?

pics of those two in particular would be awesome as well

thank you man, those are awesome!

The upper shock mount was purchased with the kit that had the a-arms. Would be pretty simple to make i suppose.
As far as the linkage goes im not sure, honestly. I will take some more pics be right back.
