Rag Top

I have a '88 4runner and would like to get rid of the fiberglass top and replace it with a removable/adjustable "rag top". Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks

Can Back is the top dog, IMO, but expensive. I have been eyeing the Killer Toy Top myself. I like the fact that is uses the factory glass in the back.

Can Back was one of the the first really good tops out to market in any quantity. They are excellent tops but at least $400 more than the KTTs.

I like the KTT's rolled shoulder look. I want him to make one for my 95 pickup. I also like the aluminum support/frame on his.

Another top you should consider for less money but still weather tight and easily removed is the softtopper.

On ebay now to help you out.

I'm sitting here trying to pull the trigger, but I'm saving for a big donation to MarlinCrawler. I want one, but I think that dual T-Case set up is calling my name. That and I need a full set of bumps and skids.

I got the top a little over a year ago from a guy here on yotatech. He bought a 4runner from a 70+ year old man and it was in the back of the 4runner in the original box. He needed money for a lift. That softtopper on ebay, that thing is hideous from the back, someone posted a pic of one here somewhere. It looks like a military vehicle from the back.

softtopper.com has them and the KTT website says to give him a call if you want one for a truck. Otherwise it's the CAN BACK system.
