R150f differences

I have a 1989 1st generation 4runner with an r150f that has bad bearings. I also happen to have an R150f with t-case from a 1995 4runner sitting at work. What I'm wondering is if anyone can tell me what the differences are between the two? Yes, I have tried searching, but don't seem to be able to find any helpful info. I would love to be able to put in the tranny from my 95 instead of spending money that could really be used elsewhere. TIA for any help!

Marlin Crawler lists them as two different transmissions.

Those guys know everything, I would call them to confirm whether it will work, or what else you need to make it work.

The individual tranny parts may have some differences IDK, but the complete assemblies should be interchangable. Both are from 3vz engines, right???

Thanks for the quick reply, and the suggestion! I called them after they opened this morning, and they said everything should be all right.

Yes, both trucks were originally 3vz's, then converted to 5vz. Definitely not worried about engine to trans. The three specific things I was worried about were more t-case issues, I guess. The first was whether or not there were any differences between the flanges for the driveshafts, the second was the speed sensor gear, and the last was, if either of those things made the t-case for the 95 impractical, were there any differences in the output shaft that would keep the t-case from the 89 from mating up to the 95 trans. I contacted Marlin Crawler when they opened this morning, and they said I should be all right. Thanks for your reply!
