Replacing Battery Cable

1990 T4r 4x4 auto V6

Can anyone tell me how to change the battery cable? Intended to replace both but have not found a source for the positive cable so I will only be replacing the Negative at this time. I have traced the cables to a single wire harness and rather than tearing into it and make what I hope to be a relatively simple repair into a major disaster and would appreciate any comments and/or suggestions.

Secondly; the starter has what I would describe as the main connector where a large eye type cable end is secured to the starter with a nut and below is another small single pole wire connector attaches to a pin?

encased in a rubber grommet?

Where does one end of that cable go? Where does the other end go?
You have to really crawl in there to see where things go.

Which connector has the rubber grommet? Arrows would help save you, and everybody trying to help time.
In picture below:
Spade connector goes from starter relay into starter solenoid COIL.
Large cable with rubber boot goes from battery positive to the positive POWER side of starter solenoid contacts.
Negative battery cable does not go to starter. It goes to a grounding bolt on the engine block.
