Replacing battery cable - 1996 Taco
I had a corroded battery terminal (+) and based on the level of corrosion on both terminals I've decided to just replace both + and - cables. I'm struggling to find where the positive cable terminates into the starter. Needless to say, there are a bunch of cable leads coming from the battery and fuse box area that are all tied together with electrical tape and ducting. Tearing this down is proving to be a real PITA and so far I can see where the end is located. I think I've found where the negative cable terminates into the frame.
Has anyone done this kind of a project? What am I looking for? I had assumed this was going to be an easy swap, but as always -- I"m turning a 1 hour project into an all day epic.

FYI - here's the spot where the positive lead attaches to the starter. The end of the cable is sheathed in a protective plastic hatch. Flip the lid open to the hatch to expose the nut that attaches the cable to the threaded post on the bottom of the starter.
The negative cable attaches to the engine block just across from the starter post in that picture. It's attached by a bolt.
The hardest part of the job was cutting through all the wire looming and electrical tape that held all of the other electronic wiring together. Once everything was stripped off I was able to pull the old + and - cables out of the mess and then spent quite a bit of time redressing everything with new electrical tape and wire looming.
