Is the rear window switch, the rear wiper switch and the window lock switch all run thru the same fuses, relay, etc???
my window is in the up position and won't roll down. None of the above mentioned switches work either.
thanks for any help
Thank you but, that is Greek to me. I can't read an electrical schematics.
I'll take it by your comment it kinda does... fixing to crawl in the rig and take off the covers and see if i can run a line from the battery to the motor and roll down the window.
it's a bit challenging since I'm 6' 4" and 67 years old...lol

Before you do that, be sure you do not haven't locked the rear window with the console switch, push the gate from the sides to be sure it is correctly closed and be sure the wiper is in its holder.

Console switch takes power from Ignition ON circuit. Tailgate key switch takes power from circuit breaker piggybacked on fuse block behind driver kick panel.
Do not butcher your wiring, especially since you are not comfortable with schematics.
Start with the simple, safe and FREE steps. Disconnect the connector to the rear wiper above the window. If the wiper park switch thinks the wiper is NOT parked, it will not allow window to roll down. Disconnecting the above will eliminate doubt on it.
Open the body panel on driver side right behind the driver's seatbelt retracting mechanism That's where the control relay is.
When you try the console or the tailgate key switches, do you HEAR/FEEL anything at the rear window control relay?
Next step would be to test the up/down inputs of the window control relay.
Probe back of connector and connect to ground to test each input.
Tell us WHAT YOU SEE HEAR, FEEL.

Well, I ran a wire to the motor after removing the panels on the tailgate.
couldn't get the motor to work, so I removed it and was able to get it to work on the bench.
i went back to the tailgate and tried to wiggle the ground wire... yup the 10mm bolt was loose.
Cleaned and tightened it up with a touch of loctite on the threads.
Working great 👍
Thank yall for your help!!

I'd pop it off, and scrub the heck out of it with a steel wire brush. There's still rust/corrosion under that ground point that should be removed ASAP. The ring terminal, washer, and metal under it, all, should all be clean and shiney. EVERY ground point you can find should be the same. Clean and shiney. That's including the battery terminals. It matters. A touch of silicon dielectric grease does wonders to keep things in the condition they should be.
It's amazing how many problems on these Toyotas can be traced to corroded ground points...
