questions for you toyota freaks!

Im a big toyota fan also! Anyways I have a question. On the newer 22re's! There is a plate on the back side of the head. Is this were the egr tubes go into or does the tube just run right past that and go into the egr? Thanks for all you help. Later

Who you call'n a freak? lol, j.k. The only thing run'n to the EGR valve is a tube straight from the exhaust that runs behind the head, and 2 vacuum lines. By newer, what year are you referring to?

Edit: Never mind, by your name, I'm assuming 94

Thats one good thing about Florida... no emissions test... my EGR valve is completely disconnected, but I need to make a block-off plate and remove it.

No emissions here in Idaho either! But I got a rebuilt engine form this place and the have to have the emissions pass in order to warranty the engine. Only looking for 22re pics. Also if anyone has a 94 toyota pickup out there can they take a pic of the egr tubes coming off of the header. Mine only has tow tubes coming out and I think there needs to be four
