Looks like you went the same route I'm going with my 89. As far as sleeping in the rear I have a "truck-bedz" inflatable pad that fits like a glove. I used it last weekend and my wife, myself and our 90lb puppy were pretty darn comfy in there.

If I had to do it again I'd have done a couple of things differently but so far I can't complain. I do need to get the money set aside for new wheels/tires/gears/locker but that won't be until my current tires wear out.

Congrats on the build and keep the updates coming.

You need to get rid of them rims they are so ugly I will take them off your hands and put them to good use they would look real good with my 35's wrapped around them , I wish I could find me a set of them I have always liked them and CENTERLINE don't make the PRO CONVO's in 6 lug anymore.

Thanks Scuba, it's taken awhile and I really need gears now, but she's built the way I want. I also need to get some sliders before I munch the sills... and... and... It's the never ending project

Hahaha, well tell ya what I have been knocking around the idea of getting some black rims or some FJ40's for her (this is all theoretical right now) so if I ever change the rims I'll let you know... I like them too though, I think they look good on the truck. I didn't know they were hard to find though...

Cheers

Thanks mate.

I tell you she she sure wheels amazing with the new rubber. my diffclearence has been greatly improved and franlkly I think it is alot more effortless then my old XJ on 34" LTB's (excepd in the mud but that's all in the tires. The Wheel-base is about perfect, the breakover is great for a rig that can haul this much gear (it's about perfect for me and the GF and all of our gear for a week or two) in fact the only real issue I've had is that now I need some LSD's or Lockers to get even farther into the boonies that and I need to re-gear, the 22RE has to work pretty hard to pull any substantial grade.

Basicly I'm really happy with all the parts I've bolted on to this truck. God how I love my Toyota.

Cheers

I really like that rig. I discovered the Yak Load Warriors today, and have added it to the "must have" list, along with their spare tire, shovel, and hi-lift mounts. And armor, front, rear, sliders, skid plate, maybe some front dif armor of some type. Then lockers... it never ends.

Lock the rear, and you have a very capable trail/dd rig.

BTW, looks great
