How do I wire the power windows in an 86 pickup?

bought power windows from same year truck and bought switchs but don't know how to wire them.

Try a Haynes, or Chiltons manual it should have the schematic.

word. my haynes manual has the layout for most of the electrical plus everything else. good investment you can get one at any auto parts store. autozone, etc...

Oh, even better idea. any upullit junkyards nearby. If so see if you can find a truck that had power windows and shred the harness out of it. Take one of your switches with you. If it will plug into the harness i bet it would work. Dont rule out near model years either. Hell I bet even sedans might work. Look at an old Cressida. I'm not sure but I think the window motors would have 3 or 4 wires goin to em 2 positive's for direction and a ground or 2 if the wiring in the car had the same number of wires to the motor a little experimitaion would hook ya up. Do you know how to use a meter or test light? If not maybe a buddy?
