Power Steering Idle Up Question

Hi. I’m working on getting the power steering idle up to work properly. The original valve was shot and leaking power steering fluid. I replaced the valve, and connected the vacuum lines to the plenum, but I didn’t see any effect. I know where to connect the two vacuum lines to the plenum, but I haven’t seen anything specify which line goes to which connection. Does it make a difference, or can either side of the valve on the power steering pump connect to either point on the plenum?

It doesn't matter. The valve on the pump is just on/off, connecting the plenum to additional metered air.

You might consider getting a straight coupling. Hook the two lines together, and by pinching turn the connection on and off to see what happens to your idle.
