Vacuum routing for idle up @ power steering
Engine: V6, 3.0, '91
I have two vacuum lines going into a "switch" at my power steering pump. I understand that this effects idle at full turn left or right (at least I think I understand this).
My question is how does one determine which line on the switch is for in, and which is for out? Does that make sense? I disconnected the lines at the other ends from the pump by mistake before marking them.
Thanks

On mine the hose closest to the front of the engine goes to the power steering port closest to the front, the other goes behind it and runs across the head to the middle of the intake

Just disconnect it. 33's, 4Low, full lock on the steering, bound up driveline, disconnected vacuum idle up lines, no problem here. If you had 44's, yeah it may be a problem. But the idle is high enough to be OK.
