Power rear window mod

I was just wondering if anyone knew about or had done a mod to a 90's xtra cab pickup to get a one piece window in thats powered, like the new toyotas.

Back of the cab is a solid piece of sheet metal. No where for the window to go. Way to much work for minimal at best gain.

Next time I will hit you.

That's why your down there and I'm up here...I'm smart enough to be at least an arms length away...

I agree...too much work. It would be easier to make it just removable...Or do what the normal folk to and unlatch the split and slide...and slide...

Take it out and only drive when it sunny? For me that would not leave many days.

that actually used to be a fairly 'common' mod in the late 80's. I good friend of mine had one in his '87 2WD. It was pretty dang cool.
It was similar to this one...funny how this subject even came up on Pirate:

Im really bringing this thread back from the dead haha.

just stumbled on it and had a thought

Couldn't you take the rear window from a 1st gen 4runner and do some custom body work to make it a possibility.

that other kit looked like the same amount of work.

and the relays and such would all match up i think.
