Bumper is there. Just didn't have time to pull plates and take proper pics. I made a custom bumper and had to cut the core support. Now I can pull the radiator and slide the motor/trans out of the front. The om617 is about 600#s. Its better to keep it low on the hoist. I will post more info when I am not working 6days a week. My 79 pick up is the same set up. The om617 has about 3 inches between the core support and the crank pulley. Had to push the radiator out some and fab a bracket.

Planned to kayak Antelope Canyon (slot) on Lake Powell but rain in forecast and background did not favor it...
Retreating back to So Cal ...

... But not without exploring a BLM area 10 miles north of Kanab, Utah. Nice sandy road with scenic camping area...

86'

86'

Sad that this thing is sitting on the side yard right now.

Dropped a new (original) engine with less than 10K and have not driven it since. Yes that's right - new! Not aftermarket rebuilt (best craigslist find of my life). Valve cover still has factory seal I'll have to post a video of it purring sometime.

Please excuse my obese dog. He's lost the weight since then.

Anyone got a snugtop camper for this thing? I'll drive across the country for it.

Thanks

Been working hard to get my daily wheeler back on the road! Some new additions, prep for the new front shaft and finishing up the tent rack lights and 63 swap!

I've been inactive for a few years but I'm back so I'll go ahead and leave these here.

Bored again, Had a couple GPS units, too cheap to buy a head unit and was changing out my cracked dash pad anyways so I used part of the old dash pad to enclose a GPS. I know not the best location but I mainly just listen to it anyways.

Not sure why Tiny Pic rotated my pics, maybe because it won't let me copy paste I had to drag and drop. Best times ever in the backseat
