Hey Guys! I'm pretty new to the forums and Toyotas in general, as I'm only sixteen. I was looking at jeeps for a first vehicle but my dad steered me towards a Toyota pickup.. Thankfully. Long story short, I got a 93 with 132,000 mi. I've done as much as I can to it, and the owner before me did quite a bit also. I recently got the aluminum wheels, new 6.5 JL door speakers, did several polishing and wax jobs, converted all the oils to synthetic (Amsoil in the trans!), soundproofed the rear wall with Dynamat and carpeted it, added a second towhook and redid the timing chain and waterpump. Planning on a getting a 2.25 exhaust, a bedliner, softtop and maybe a header down the road. I've definetly fallen in love with my truck!

New to the forum, but have loved 4Runners for years, just never was in the right spot to afford one. Well after some searching and a lot of patience on my wife's end, we found the diamond in the rough. We just recently purchased the 1988 SR5 4Runner (my dream car), and earlier this year we got my wife her 2014 SR5 4Runner. However, I can't find any pictures of the 2014. So I'll post those once I find some.[/IMG]

Now to my truck!
I love this pickup but maaaan is it a pita!
about a month ago my old tires were cracked and leaking air, so I got some of that leak seal crap which didn't do a darn thing really. One morning its just about flat so i fill up at the gas station and hope I make it to work. As I'm going around the bend to merge on to 8 north, the rear end starts to get lose on me! so i pull over right away. Not even having enough time to look to my right to see if its clear so I pretty much drove to work on a flat tire haha It wasn't too far away though. I seriously had to check my short after that. one of the scariest moments of my life. sheeesh.. haha I also painted the step rails and the plastic fender piece. Next is new shocks and diagnosing a tick in the top end. that should be fun..
