Judging from brown interior and the date, I believe that is also a 1986, just like my Ruby Tuesday. Do you guys think there were other years with red exterior and brown interior?

A friend of mine bought a 1988 red SR5 with brown interior and brown SR5 stripes brand new in 1988. I always disliked the combo. I think gray goes better. It's definitely better than the red interior though.

LOL! He only briefly mentioned that he had a 4Runner (no mention of date) and that it was stolen but discovered n Mexico. They managed to work with the authorities to recover it.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw him post that pic from 1986.

Nervo,
Yeah I like grey the most, too. Red the least - LOL!

Update on my truck! Scored on sr5 buckets for a hundred. I didn't think it was too bad as the only damage was the little tear on the driver side's bolster. Check out the link for a little snow run I did to Bon Jon pass, in Quilcene, WA.

After selling my '95 4Runner a couple of years ago, the itch got too strong and I had to replace it. Got a '90 SR5 V6 4WD auto with 170k on it. The original owner had put a monster sound system in, but gutted it when he sold it, so there was no audio wiring whatsoever and two huge holes in the back interior panels where the sub boxes were.

Over the last week I've done:

New tires, wheels, brake pads, shocks, coil springs, steering stabilizer, head unit, radio antenna, headlights, LED brake and turn signals, removed the bug deflector and rear spoiler, Plasti-dipped all chrome parts (both bumpers, grille, licence plate surround, badges, mirrors, and door handles) matte black.

Bumper and lights are in the future, but for now I'm happy!

Other than the 22's that look, in my opinion, out of place on your truck you've got and had some sweet looking rides!
