Hey fellas, haven't been on here in an age, but just caught the Toyota fever again and picked this up this morning. Not much of a looker yet but definitely has potential. All the parts (grill, head lights, etc are inside) it's an 87 22re 5 speed. Should be a fun project.

Well, here she is. Got some new shoes last week. Also took 20 minutes today and fixed my bump stops... They were bad!!! (before/after pix below)

 

Nice looking 3rd gen, what exactly did you do to the bump stops? I see you put the caps on the stud but what did you do on the control arm side?

 

Thanks! Both sides of each wheel, yes. Those pics are actually of different wheels, I took a photo of the LF as I started and RF as I finished. Resurfaced the face to make them flat (they were all gouged pretty good). That should prolong the life of the caps.
