Also hows that front bumper working for you? have you had the chance to "use" it yet?
Lol thanks man! Its gone through a big facelift. Haha

I have had a chance to try out my offroad lights and they work lioe a charm. I was amazed at how bright they were. As for the winch goes..... I didn't get a chance to try it out. I dislike getting stuck. But this past Big Bear ca trip I really wanted to get stuck just to try it out lol but didn't matter how hard I tried she just wouldn't get stuck haha. Those front and rear lockers are really sweet. But I do want to try this winch out sometime. Maybe in some powder desert sand or something. I dunno.

As for testing the bumper out such as crashing into a car or something to see if it holds up... well, I hope it never comes to that but I haven't tried that out haha im trying to avoid that at all cost but when I do crash I will feel very sorry for whoever I hit because it will turn out in a nasty total loss for them lol

Redeth005 you could just wrap it around a tree and pull yourself to it, put like wheel chocks or rocks as challenges lol

crashing is no fun hopes you never have to test it that way...

tho i might be able to convince my dad for a full exo cage from getting hit by a bus, he was all like "i wont feel like you're safe until you have a full cage a 5pt harness fire suit and helmet"

but most of that is just concerned father talking... but i'd be down for a cage

But why didnt you stick with the yellow? and are you still running the 3.4? or have you gone back to the 22RTE? your sig is confusing me haha

Anyways AWESOME truck man and great work on restoring her up after those 8 lonely years
Thanks for the compliments i been trying to do a clean build.

I ended up picking up a new body from tx for real cheap that had a crappy maaco paint job so I needed to respray. I always did like the 1st gens in grey so I went with toyota's magnetic Greg metallic. I sprayed it myself and I think it turned out OK for 1st time paint job.

As far as the engine goes its a 3.4l now and soon to be supercharged once I get around to installing it. I should update my sig.

Ya no problem, its a nice looking runner! Hows that 3.4 doing for ya, compared
to the 22RTE and gas mileage?

Haha nicely put! The po drilled 8 huge holes in the hood to mount that snow catcher with a 4xRack. I thought i was cool at first until the first snow storm it went through, then it was obvious, time for a new location. Where do you guys keep yours? I always see them mounted to the roll bar or on the swing out tire carrier for the lucky bunch that have them.

I would say inside on the roll bar on the diagonal. I have had mine 2 years now and have yet to mount it in my pickup.

Finally put my other seat cover on the passenger side... I like them, they're very comfortable and soft and they were much more expensive until they wound up at Big Lots! Haha. ...( they come with headrest covers as well but I have the Camry head rests in there and I can't fit them over them... I'm a little bummed about that.

Here's a picture of the rear.... HiLift mounted.... I will get you some better close up pictures, Brian ( I also wanted to share my shhhhnazzy and super heavy duty zip tie Fire extinguisher mount ! Lol... Hey man, it works! )...

I am really loving the triple sticks from RADesigns... I have used the crap out of them and never had an issue... They do not bend and they do not bind... And as you can see I was able to keep everything in my original shifter bezel... Obviously with a little trimming. I also love how the lights look on those soft touch switches. The other day, a guy pulled up next to me on my dark street and said, "I know you're just warming up and getting ready to leave... , but could you please light up those roof lights and all your other ones? I've been watching you while I walk my dog and so forth... Just want to see what you were doing?"... Good grief I love that stuff! So, healing in the passenger side as I was explaining the switches, then I simply drag to my finger across very lightly on all three, and Bing Bing Bing, they all instantaneously came on. Like I was very much so, he couldn't believe how bright the setup was... Then turned on the rock lights for him and he thought, all on his own,... "I bet you could go up into the mountains at night and not have a single worry, right?"... YEP! Lol... I'm so grateful for the deal that I got and I love having them on here. I use the backup ones all the time as I'm parking. I like to back into parking spots. I think you can see my CB in this picture but I'm not positive... Just also wanted to share how that's mounted on the front of my console. Love it! I got to messing with a little bit and I think I realized why it was a little muffled... There was a sticker over the microphone! Lol. Also loving the external Uniden stereo 4.5inch speaker...

I posted a picture it just about this post... But I have better pictures I have to find in my photobucket. Unfortunately I didn't organize them into an album. I have about 900 pictures in there in my main album so I have to dig through. I can't move in now or the pictures will disappear on my build thread.... But I will find them explain how I did it and how I strapped it on the lower end to my roll bar so that it will not move,.... at all! I basically use a 21 millimeters socket, shorty socket that is, to put between the roll bar and the high left... I found the right hole to go through on the highway Bar & wanted the base to be as close to the corner near the tailgate as possible. I then used heavy duty velcro cinch belt straps, two of them, to secure the lower portion of the high lift to the roll bar, which also kept the base super securely fixed to the floor. This thing makes not a single rattle, even while off roading.... Let me try to find that picture for you

Here is how I secured the HiLift to the roll bar, for the purpose of anchoring it to the floor, securely...

I've since moved it to the driver side, but it mounts the same way. I wanted to keep my passenger side rear cargo access panel more easily accessible... I keep talking the recovery gear and tools in there... Along with spare Toyota parts that are needed for operation, period/ in case one breaks... (TPS/IGN SW/etc...). I kept the smaller bottle jack in there and left the wiper fluid back alone... Because I've found that check to be very useful, even though it is too short to lift the truck... There have been situations where I am in a very tight area up against a rock or something of the sort, where I would need and could fit something smaller under my axle or so forth. Not to mention they can help in bending things back into place.........
