I know its not super impressive, and due to engine and transmission swaps inaccurate, but still. But still a little mile stone. Just rolled over 170k

Well today is a sad day... I can no longer say I've never been in an accident, and turbo is no longer dent free.... A bus was changing lanes and thought I was clear of him, but clipped my driver side rear fender.

Geeeez! So who's fault was it. Did you change lanes into the bus or him into you??? Poor turbo! damn that's some crappy news.

Oh man. What a retard! I hope you got all the info on that douchebag. Get'er fixed.

Btw now that I think of it. You might not have had so much damage if you had sliders (with kick out) and rear bumper with the side protection. Mehh... looking at the picture though It might have been impossible to avoid damage.

Sorry to hear about that. I've had 2 accidents happen to me like that on my daily driver corolla. It sucks.

It was a big Yahoo bus too... Honestly lucky that we where going slow enough he didn't flip me, or pop my tire... My dad has seen a few yotas roll in similar accidents but over 60mph. We where barely going 30

Laura,.... I'm really sorry, girl! Sorry, ......but I'm very glad you're ok! You're right, even low speed wrecks could be deadly when a bus is involved! Some friends of ours, back in the 90's, rear ended a bus at 35 miles an hour and both of them in the front seats were killed(engine came through the dash) ....

He's right^^^^^^, you'll get it cherry in no time! Bruno now has his war wounds, ....so maybe rename him "Wreck it Ralph" until he's straightened out?? Hehe... jk, just trying to give you a smile.

Thanks, you got a little smile from it. My dads friends used to build show cars so maybe they'll help me fix him. We're gong to see what insurance wants us to do and go from there tho

I just hope insurance doesn't try to total it. They don't understand how much our old trucks are worth to us.

If a body shop wants to charge more than $500 I'll be shocked. and we have told our insurance what's we've done to it recently with the engine and trans, the lift paint and new interior, so the value for my truck individually is decent. Besides when one of my dads company semi truck got hit the company just wrote the lady a check, even tho it wasn't even their fault. So idk what will happen

A school bus swiped my front driver corner in a parking lot, dented the fender a little broke the parking light assembly. And it removed some paint from my trail gear bumper. Their insurance is sending me a $1100 check. And it only cost me $40 to get it looking decent again. Hopefully something similar will come from your incident.

School bus? Was it full of kids? My uncle is a school bus driver (#1 in the state), and if they get in car accidents with kids (their fault) they petty much lose their job.

My lights weren't broken and its mostly the small dent that'll cost money, the big one will pop and buff out, no crimp to the metal.

If I would have been off roading and hit a rock it would have been a decent trophy lol. But a big a$$ bus not stopping while changing lanes and ignoring your horn is kinda scary.

I definitely want to my truck quoted by the insurance company with everything that I have invested in this truck. I have every receipt that I have ever spent toward the truck since the day I bought it. I have spent just about 14,000 dollars in total from buying the truck, to restoring the truck(interior, exterior and mechanically such as rebuilding the engine getting all new emissions sensors and all the exhaust stuff), to all the off-road upgrades, to my custom front and rear bumpers and accessories. I'm sure I'm about $150-200 off my calculations but it is more or less in the 14,000 dollar range. So I would definitely like to get appraised by the insurance company for sure just in case some horrible freak accident happens that i end up losing my truck. And only and up getting 2000 dollars out of it.

Once I install the knocksensor and knocksensor connector wire ill add that to the total, as well for a new alarm system and killswitch. I'm sure those would help me out in the total as well

I don't think it was full of kids, the driver was turning it around in the parking lot and left a note on my windshield. Hopefully the adjuster that checks it out likes your truck and gives an over estimate.
