Hey, the blue looks fine to me... That's "Aisin" Blue on things I've gotten. I think Wabbit sports that blue, too... and that's a BAD WABBIT~! lol. JK Brian.
Wow, Amazing how intimidated I was by that simple lil motor the first time diving in! lol... Still, they can get a mind of their own, but they sure usually seem to take a LOTTTTTTTTT longer to get there than many others, right?
Nice work, man! You rebuilt it, 907?

Yeah I did, except machine work. There is still a lot to do, but its getting there. Its been sitting a while. I got the engine out the end of July.
Im not intimidated. Ive done a lot of work on these motors, just never rebuilt one. Most in-depth I have done before was a head gasket. I had 2 other used 22res I took apart before, though. Its all pretty easy to me. Just bolts and stuff
These are my 2 favorite colors, especially together

Yeah, that's what I meant, 907....First glance at this thing 12 years ago, I had been in them a few times.. BUT NEVER a full rebuild, let alone machining, etc... BUT, I guess just all the vacuum lines, etc... I was so used to Hot rods... simple combustion 'GO-GO-GOOOOOOOO', lol.
Looks great, man.... Keep up the good work

I cleaned up my engine bay today, along with a few other 'check/look-see's' on some of the parts I've grabbed over the years at Pick-Your-Part(specific to 'interior lights' at this point)... And MAN it was filthy from the mud... BUT, had to be done... so do it, right? lol...

Wow Mark, yours came out so much cleaner then mine. What did you wash it with. I am gonna need to reclean mine all over again. I didnt pressure wash it but I did rinse and wash with the car wash cloth and soap. Cleaned up so so but you still see traces of dirt.
