Parking Brake Cable Replacement Question

Just had my parking brake cable replace (it broke near the handle) my 1990 4Runner. Was charged 2 hours of time (which seemed a little high). At any rate, my clutch pedal is now behaving noticably differently - sticking somewhat at the bottom. Could the replacement of the parking brake cable have had an affect on how my clutch pedal is working (maybe the new cable interfering with it somewhere)? Any thoughts? Thank you.
