Unhappy oil pressure problem

On my 87 22r engine with a rebuild kit runs good now. I used the ENGBLDR kit. My problem is now my oil pressure is all over the place. When at idle it is 10psi or could be 40psi. When i give it some gas the guage sometimes drops to 0 then goes back up and sometimes when i hit the gas it goes up like it should. So i used a WIX oil filter then tryed the fram same problem. I then changed oil pump and still no change. And last but not least i even replaced my mechanical guage with another one as the first one was a couple years old and still have oil pressure drifting. Sometimes while holding rpm at 2500 the guage bounces all over the place any ideals.

Did you prime the oil pump when you replaced it?. I've read that there can be an air block preventing it from picking up adequate oil.

You have a short in the wiring from the sending unit.

When you fill the crankcase, how much oil do you have to put in for the stick to read full?
And don't quote from the manual: say exactly how much oil you put in.
