ya! I dream of owning a CAR with nitrous or supercharger one day.....prolly a 90s BWM, I miss my 5 and 3 series but the 4runner doesn't get stuck in snow.

has anyone heard from NXtaco lately? last i heard of him he blew that SC'd taco up with that 125 shot.

Doug (aka "blink" on Yotatech) still keeps in touch with him I believe. I'm not sure if Doug is on YT anymore, but I still talk to him via Facebook. I can find out if you want.

shat... on my way to chevron i blew my nitrous solenoid plunger...

*note to self, do not leave a nitrous line pressurized overnight. cost for a new one $40.

nitrous would really my 3.slow but at 180,000 miles, im not sure it would make it to 190,000.

I would love to have nitrous for altitude compensation.

BTW - OP, you might reconsider the fuel jet. Lean conditions are much harder on the motor than rich. The ECU will have a much easier time taking fuel out of the map to get the O2 right than it will trying to add.

i thought about that but i think holley based the jetting off of average displacement of domestic v6 motors, which tend to have more displacement than import v6, this week i will be back at my house and get my replacement solenoid put in and experiment at my 1/4 mile spot with a stop watch. you have a really good point about closed loop compensation, i never took that into account.

i had a video up but it was really lame, crappy quality and my bottle went dry on me durring the run. i haven't found a dyno in town either. i will try to get a new video up next week.

yeah at that mileage you might want to do the head gaskets before throwing more air and fuel into it.

well i finally got around to putting that new solenoid in... it was $89. i was just going to rebuild it but the tech guy at NOS said they didn't make a rebuild kit for that solenoid.
