New Twist On My Old Tail Lights(pics...)

So i recently had a fellow YT'er smoke my tail light that were supposed to be smoked when i bought them over a year ago....

here is how they looked...


and how they look now...

that looks 2000x times better..

in PA..at least where I live nobody gets pulled over for anything ever like that. My step bro has tail lights like that on his jetta that are WAY darker and he doesn't have problems. I drive around with my PIAA 525's on all the time and cops never say anything.

They look much better than the first pic.

Makes me wonder why all the aftermarket *bling* tail light gurus don't design something that looks nicer, simpler, and better.

I'll echo the rest and say that those look MUCH better! I smoked my stock lenses a while back, but I didn't seal it and it began flaking off before too long. I don't know what process yours underwent, but I would ask to see if there was any sealant put on. If not, you should do that. Looks good!
