New seats

So after some searching and researching here on yota tech I decided I'd had it with my old torn bench seat.

Yesterday I took a trip to the local breaker and found these seats out of a 98 Nissan Pathfinder.

Pic of my old seat for reference.

Hey look no seats!!!

blurry pic of them in. I'll get some better ones tommorrow. I didn't realize these were so bad when I took them.

Pretty easy install. I only had to drill one hole on each seat and that was pretty minor. If you're looking for seats, pathfinder seats look to be an option.

That's good to know. I'm planning to take out the 3rd Gen. benchseat that was put in my truck by the previous owner and switch to buckets as well. Glad to hear the install was relatively easy too. Can't wait to see more pics.

I'll take some more tomorrow. I ripped the carpet out and put bedliner down and I'll be hitting it with another coat or two tommorrow.

Nice.
My 87 4runner needs new seats in the worst way and Pathfinders are a dime a dozen here in PHX. I was at a u pull this morning and saw 5 or 6.

They're absolutely great. Night and day compared to the old torn bench.

Best $50 spent on my truck to date.

Very nice. I just made a deal on some Toyota bucket seats for $20. I believe they're from a Corolla...but they'll fit as well, just have to do some bracket work. I can't wait to get them in and get rid of the bench seat also. Great score on those Pathy seats though, and those pics are MUCH better

I only needed to move one bracket and drill one hole per seat. It was all pretty painless. 3 hours and I was done including the herculiner on the floor.

I'm not sure how I like the herculiner just yet. My wife hates it though.

On some model ford explorers the center console is pretty much a perfect fit for that area. I'm going to take another trip to the junkyard here in a couple weeks to see what they've got.

i got 86 mr2 seats in my 92. bolted in on the outside holes. 2 new ones on the inner and rotate the belt tabs. 4runner console. it has rear air, but just dont get that junk. or find one that didnt have rear air, its got 2 flip up compartments. i like the rear air, just wanna cut it deeper. fits good though.
