Bad Ignition Switch

The electric switch part of my ignition switch is bad in my 87 4Runner, I have another switch from an 86 truck, will it work in my 4Runner, are they the same switch ?.

Tilt wheel? I believe the ign switch from the tilt wheel version has a longer wiring harness. Otherwise, it should swap. Try it!!

Yea, it is a tilt wheel, i never thought about the harness being longer with a tilt wheel, i will try it and see if it works.
