New pictures for your enjoyment...

It seems like every other thread on this forum is help me fix my Toyota, I blew my head gasket, my engine won't start, or what is this part... and its kind of getting depressing.

Now don't get me wrong, my Toyota has had its fair share of problems. I have definitely had to rely on the yotatech community to help me fix my truck.

I just thought I would freshen things up a little bit in here with some yota love. Here are some updated photos from last weekend.

Thanks for looking...
Joshua

Looks good man! Submit it in the "Post your pics" thread so it can forever live in infamy. I like how you've blacked out all the ugly stuff in the front under the used to be valance. Also what are you doing for front turn signals?

No plans yet. I really want something low profile with an option to carry a spare. Right now I have no $$$ or time so it will probably be awhile.

Right now I am still using the stock turn signals. You can actually still see the signal but its pretty dim. I am reading up on how to convert over to LED. My plan is to rewire the corner lamps (next to the headlight) to be running lights and turn signals. I can't figure out how to wire it so that the running lights turn off when I want the turns to activate. Anyone have any experience with this?

I want to do something similiar with the rear lights.

Thanks. Here are a few that I thought might qualify for something like that. Once again these are a little old.

Wow! Great pics. Those look like a Toyota ad from a magazine.

Yeah, nice shots. Your 4runner used to have more pieces on it then! As for your turn signals, I've been wanting to put turns in there too. I was considering just extending the turn signal wires, modify side marker housing to accept another bulb, and splice in new connector/bulb. That way the markers will stay on, but when signal is lit, it'll get brighter yet. Sounds good in theory anyway.

Yeah I have a pile of parts on the side of my house that I have been able to strip off. It has made a huge difference in weight reduction. Let me know if you figure out how to turn the running lights into turn signals. I was hoping to figure out a way to get the running light to turn off when the blinker is on. Seems like it should be an easy thing to figure out...

Thanks man. I go back and forth. In general I am probably heading in the right direction. Would be different if I had the $$$ to make the changes I want to...
