I have seen some H1's with a single stack on the drivers rear 1/4, it looked good.

Mock it up with some cardboard tube and see how you like it.

Hey that hummer looks OK...let's try that on a HEEP...
I don't even know which side the exhaust is on...







Not too bad...after all, it's a HEEP.
Let's try it on a muddy 1st gen.



And yes, I know that's on the wrong side... but I didn't want to look for a muddy 4runner driver's side pic.

The one I saw came straight up and was further back, pretty much on the edge of the bumper. It looks better.

I saw that done once on an orange 1974 Datsun pickup truck with roofing supplies tied to the utility cage.. i think it was headed to the taqueria on the other side of town..

Chop the top off behind the seats like 4Hummer, then bring the stacks up in the "bed" of the truck.

Anything on the sides is going to require lots of protection so you don't rip it off.
