Need Ideas For Fuel Pressure Tester

Can anybody point me to a tool for testing fuel pressure on the 3vzfe? Banjo bolt adapter or complete kit with the right adapter. Here is one example https://www.lceperformance.com/Fuel-...-p/2019128.htm Except I am too cheap to spend that much.

This commercial tool
Amazon Amazon
comes with the correct banjo-bolt adapter for a 3VZE (I suspect, but don't know, that the 3vzfe may take the same.) The adapter is "permanently" installed, but the tool is not, so you can use it on all modern vehicles with a Schraeder fuel pressure port. Or sell it.

With a gauge on the end of a hose, you could probably tape it to the outside of the windshield if you really needed to drive around and watch it.

Rad4runner likes his permanently install gauge. I suspect you can pick up the parts for that for a little less. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f199...l#post52312190

I believe 6cyl folks use this banjo to tap into the Fuel Pressure Regulator:

The LCE banjo (which you can buy separately w/o the gauge) is for the Cold Start Injector.

Take a look at this thread: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...85/index2.html

On my 22RE, I ended up getting the LCE banjo & used the Northern Tools gauge with a standard elbow. Somewhere laying around here I have the $10 one from eBay, will send it to you for just shipping if you want.

Seeing this photo below made me think I should drill through the top of the Toyota bolt and thread it to accept a fitting, and then I thought naaaaaaah. $10 for the adapter is money wisely spent (more text below picture).

Then I saw this for $3 more and thought why not have the 90º fitting, plus, these guys have everything you need for a remote or in-cab gauge setup. https://www.glowshiftdirect.com/fuel-pressure-adapters/

I noticed that they have 5-star ratings in their Amazon store.
Amazon Amazon

My next question is, should I leave the adapter bolt in place and just put a fuel-rated Schrader valve on it for future testing? It would have to be a good quality part with a fuel-tight cap. Don't want to have an engine fire because some cheap Schrader valve leaked fuel.

Note that an in-cab gauge requires an electronic sender. Which is nice, but spendy. No one will (intentionally) sell you an in-cab gauge that has a fuel line, even a tiny one, extending into the cab. (It's called a Firewall for a reason.)
