I needed a fuel tank since I bought a 2wd 85-88 toyota pickup frame that didn’t have the fuel tank. I ordered a fuel tank from AutoZone and I cannot find the correct hanger and sender assembly. It’s a 13.7 gallon tank if anyone has pictures of the two brackets In the 13.7 gal tank so I could order or point me in the right direction to get one that would be awesome! I have pictures of the tank and both holes seem smaller then the 17 and 19 gallon tank

 

That tank would have been in the very basic truck, RN50 (reg cab shortbed)
Your engine is EFI? The 17 gal tank wouldn't fit?

The reason i was asking is the 13.7 was in the basic truck, and that was carb. So no fuel pump in the tank. It was a mechanical pump bolted onto the head.
The fuel sending unit for a 1985-88 RN50 is 83320-39456.
The next gen truck, the RN8, had an EFI with a 13.7 gallon tank. It may work. that would be 1990 or so.

figured it out got a 13.7 from AutoZone bolted in a 17 gal hanger and cut the tube to fit🤙🏾and routed the fuel lines
