Cleaning the Fuel Tank

On our 85 4Runner we're having problems with Injectors getting clogged, we were told we need to clean the fuel tank out, and change the fuel filter.

What is the best way to go about cleaning out the fuel tank?

I was thinking about getting something like this:
http://mystarbrite.com/startron//con...5/125/lang,en/

Running putting it in the tank, shake the truck around, let it sit, drain the tank, then flush some fresh fuel through it.

What are your guys' recommendations on this? Can I clean the tank with it in the truck or should i just drop it out?

If the tank is real rusty on the inside, you will need to replace the tank or the rust will come back, its just a matter of time before it does.

years ago when I had a rusty tank i removed it and threw some rocks in it and shook it around till the rust was beat off the sides of the tank. I vacuumed out all the rust and used this stuff to seal the tank.

I didnt buy from that particular company but that is the product I used.

K we dropped the tank late last night, and cleaned out all the crap in there.

I must say this is the easiest tank i've ever dropped. Easy to drain, no straps, and easy to get to all the fittings on top.

One problem I encountered though, was we bent the fuel line fitting on top.

Looks like that one. It has a kink in it, I didn't want to straighten it because I feared it would break. The truck runs perfectly fine, but the new fuel pump is a little loud and I'm fearing it's because of this kinked line.

Does anyone know where we can buy a new one of those assemblies that holds the fuel pump and everything or should I just start asking people who are parting out trucks?

Alright that's what I figured. Do you know where I can find a part number for that or should I just go to the dealer?

I was trying to find it on some of the toyota wholesale sites and had no luck.
