Hmm im diggin this new muffler.... steady power until 4.5k... and sounds half decent to..

U A FOOL lol simple mistake on my end. and G cali ... im sure yours could beat my dads its IFS i hate that about his truck. i think if his was SASD then that would be one of the badest around here ... altho the paint job is a tad too expensive but hey its his truck lol

dang Tonkayota that sounds alot better than what i expecting!!! have you ever thought bout putting flowmasters or glasspacks on with the true duals??? i think it would sound even better than the thrush turbos do. oh and i love the camo on your truck

I don't like glasspacks cause it has to much pop and me not having cats it will not give me any back pressure and I'm not crazy about flows, they are overrated. Plus I believe I have a 1 of a kind yota .
I'm doing my interior soon, painting it tan.

 

oh gotcha man. well i just got me a cherry bomb extreme. it suppose to be louder than a flowmaster but not as loud as glasspacks. cant wait till tuesday ot wednseday to get it installed!!! lol

I like the sound. It sounds similar to mine, except I like the note of mine a little better. Unfortunately, I have no way of proving that since I don't have a video camera. I could crawl underneath and take a picture, but no one wants to see a mud caked exhaust.

 

i like the sounds of both tonkayota and mak92 trucks. almost makes me wanna cut my cats off.lol

I've got a Magnaflow hi flow cat and Magnaflow muffler with 2.25" pipe from the cat back. It isn't loud but it sounds good.

 

I originally put a magnaflow on mine , but honestly I thought it sounded to much like those lil bumble bee cars that are floating around here, so I took it off.

 

that what i just put on my truck shorty heddman hedders with 2.25 into a knock off flowmaster. i think its called flowsound haha sounds good and not pissed off or loud but i have only driven it on trailer that day to take to paint shop.. it also isnt broken in so. ill get a video up once i get it back form body shop.

To me, anything without a cat sounds ricey. Yours sounds ok though

 

not all of them , It all depends on what size pipe you , run , what muffler , how its ran. There are just alot of variables. Like mine is a true dual with thrush turbo mufflers and x2 18in echo tips.

good post tonka. im running a 2.5" magnaflow hi flow cat with a thrush turbo and it sounds like garbage, nothing like yours at all. lol i have had many types of exhaust set ups and this one is the worst yet. lol
