Current truck, replaced with stock muffler.. was 15$ i had no money and needed one bad.
My ol 4runner and my b2200 both have a walker/thrush raptor. I really like it. Chamber design with deadening material. Gives it a good growl without droning or high pitch noises

I have the 3.0 6cyl motor with stock exhaust manifold. The system started off with 2" pipe all the way through. I flared it out to 2 1/2" just behind the original flange that the catalytic converter bolted to.

That 3" tip might go a long way to getting a deeper tone. All my research into exhaust sounds indicate that the bigger the opening, the deeper the tone. Other factors affect it also, but the basics say open it up for deeper sound.
