I dunno... But I guess you add 1 to that number now.

I have seen hundreds of trucks and cars on the road down here that have a cat and still pollute more than my truck does. There are bigger problems out there than properly tuned up cars and trucks without cats to worry about.

Ever ride behind a new F250 diesel towing a load?

You almost can't even breathe. If I drive across town I have to switch my air conditioner to recirc 5 or 6 times because I get behind either a diesel (diesel fumes and carcenogenic btw) or a can that is running too rich or just too badly. Behind me you may smell a little gas from being too rich but that's it.

Now go look at all of the motorcycles that don't have cats, lawn mowers, chain saws, weed eaters, etc. Also I bet there's nothing like a good old fashioned slash and burn to clear a 100 acre lot for new houses to add a ton of CO to enhance the greenhouse effect. I am around new subdivisions for my work and I can tell you there are no less than 30 new ones clearing land in my town at this moment. Every single one of them are burning the trees after they pile them up.

I suggest you take your energy for your crusade to save the world somewhere else. There are better things to worry about.

Sorry if it sounded like I was being nasty, I promise I wasn't.

Most of the good information you will get on a forum like will come out of a level-headed debate.... Much like the one we're having.

It's all good man.

Well now, if everyone else is doing it I might as well too, right?

Everyone else is trashing off-road areas, I should too, right?
Everyone else is throwing litter out their vehicles, I should too, right?
Everyone else is downloading pirated movies from the internet, I should too, right?
Everyone else is getting drunk and getting behind the wheel, I should too, right?

Look friend, this is not a crusade. This is about personal responsibility. If you take this as argumentative, tough cookies. Bottom line is that removing the cat from your vehicle, whether or not it is legal in your state, is just selfish and irresponsible.

You are a part of the solution or a part of the problem.
Oh and by the way, everyone else who is standing off to the side and not saying anything because they don't want to rock the boat... yeah, you're a part of the problem too.

Again, I'm sorry if this hurts people's feelings but it is the truth.
I'm done.

I see your point.

You're a follower and not a leader it seems...

I couldn't care less about what other people are doing or what's riding on the bandwagon.

No matter what you say, my properly tuned truck pollutes less than a vehicle with a cat that's out of tune. There is no argument. Period.

I'm done.

(until you reply again. )

Hey i download illegal music! I pick up trash and i take care of where i play"dont ลลลล where you work/play" but i love my dynomax catback system. The previous owner of my 80 truck didnt run a cat, then put one on using about 4 adapters, causing serious leaks, so i fixed the gasket issue, and got the stock cat, then i put on a cherry bomb, but let me tell you that cherry bomb is abnoxious, and people always ask what engine i have in it.
