Why not drive it awhile and see what changes would improve the utility of the truck? You may find that it does everything you want it to do, just as it is.

Darn good advice right there.

First thing I would buy is a Factory service manual to figure out how to save myself 1800 bucks

Depends on what you want, hard to give suggestions without knowing that.

I personally want front & rear ARB's, a power tank, a winch with an ARB style bumper, sliders, a marlin rear bumper, full belly skid pans, a Sonoran Steel IFS truss, 1UZFE V-8 engine, a CB, a decent CD player, Geolander M/T+ tires & a dual battery set-up.....oh & my A/C fixed.....oh & some HID trail lights mounted into the front bumper.....& a spare transmission sitting in my garage.

Edit: OH yeah...my passenger side oil leak fixed too....dang I am lazy & needy.

lol thanks guys i do have a good job... sushi chef = $60 an hour... so i do have a little excess money. a little bit. i guess i will just wait and see what happens with my truck to get the upgrades and stuff. i want a v-8 but that is way out of my time frames and skill level. The only reason i put the 1800 into it was beuase i am not getting rid of it for a LOOONNNGGGG TIME. actually...

there will be floating cars and i wills till have my 4runner. boo yaa

the best off roading thing i could think of would to get bigger subwoofers, becuase they vibrate!, which increases bounce, which increases your chances or getting over that big rock...except not.

anyways thanks for all your guys help.

Sounds like you're already off to a fine start...
When you have the cash I'd do an free flow exhaust to help your engine exhale, and [touching off huge debate argument here lol] a K&N airfilter if you have'nt already to free up the inhale side. These two mods will give you more power and better fuel economy. After that a set of member wheezy2k's cams and you'll have a very nice set up without going to a v8...
other things you can do are a custom interior re-colour all this will cost you is time and a few cans of vinyl/plastic spray paint (check out member tv4184's very well done and documented thread on a custom black interior conversion for more info here). Several members have done full sound deadening mods as well, several well done threads on that topic are here also.
Oh! and welcome to the family...

I had a K&N on my '95 & it got about the same gas mileage as the paper filter that's in it now. I didn't want to risk gunking up the AFM or whatever it's called on this model so now it's sitting in my living room with the ADD plates I took off. The wife is pissed off every time she goes out the door because of my tools & parts in there SO - to you wifey poo! (I'm glad she doesn't read the YT forums)

The 92 does'nt have that kind of AFM so no worries about "gunking it up"...
