You can't get a paypal debit card. You can even transfer money to your bank account. On the main menu just go to withdraw. I'm about to make my donation g/l.

6000+ members...

If we don't hit the $300 mark, that would be pretty disappointing.

Paypal sent.

Good luck. Finally we may get a 3.0 with decent gas mileage and some guts Paypal sent. 3 people who sent so far, that's almost your valve covers.

I'll tell you what, if you're going to do this swap also, you can be the one to get my spare head. Up to you, I have two head for the same side. Morons at the salvage yard don't know the difference between left and right bank even if you tell them that you need the one with the distributor on it.

But again, it's yours if you want it. I'll have to depend on you to use it for this swap and if not pass it along.

Just remember, It was my idea to do the paypal thing so if I ever come down to TN or you come up to OH, you owe me a ride in the 4Runner/Camry hybrid mobile!

Cool.......2 of you sent more than the $5. Good thing because I'm not sure we'll raise the money. I appreciate all of this though. I guess it's for all of us though.

**Praufet**
Anyway you can make your paypal come from a bank account and resend. If I accept it, I'll have to upgrade my membership and then it'll be $0.30 to accept it. Just curious since we're trying to save money, right?

No problem, sorry, totally forgot about that. I'll send another payment. Also did you see my post about throttle body concerns? Just curious about that.

I saw that......I have that concern too, but it would be just a matter of swapping throttle cables with a newer 4Runner/T100/Tacoma. The cruise shouldn't a big issue though.

Thanks, but I just finished getting my heads machined when you brought up your mod. I was honestly a day too late. I do plan on keeping this rig a while. I love the body and suspension too much to cash it in. I will probably try this mod next, if it works well for you. Keep us updated in this thread. I know it has gotten long, but it won't get lost!

Just thought I'd give this post a bump and update on the fund. It's up to $45.....not growing fast at all really. Where are all of the 3VZ 4Runner owners at? No one else wants to see this project up and running?

Hey Dan, do you have a 5-speed or auto? I'm wondering how this swap would work with the auto tranny, would the shift points be wrong?

$$$ sent, Dan.

I too think it may be a good idea to create another post (or a sticky?) for funding and updating this project. - Jason G

I'll be honest with you....I have no idea. All I own are manual tranny vehicles. My mom has a Camry with an auto, but that's about as close as I've been to one. I couldn't even tell you how Toyota auto trannies work. My friend has a Dodge Ram and he use to adjust his shift points and the time the shifts took via vacuum. I'm not sureif you can do that with Toyotas or not. Maybe someone that knows something about Toyota auto trannies can help out here.

****On a side note. I have no idea how to make a sticky post on here.....can anyone else make the new thread/sticky post for this fund? I'd appreciate that.

I'm also starting my write-up on this project as far as parts at this point. I'll take pictures as the complete assembly is taking place.****
