Thanks for the quick reply and the photos. Older 3rd Gens are about $5,000 with almost 200k miles. Newer 3rd Gens ('00-'02) are $7-$10,000 with about 150k miles or a little less. For this kind of money. a brand new Toyota engine may be possible. My 2nd Gen looks new with no rust. If I can get about 3 more years of use. I can justify new Toyota engin e expense. I like to think my 2nd Gen has a somewhat 'vintage go anywhere Toyota vehicle look' to it.
I just got the idea to see if OEM ac compressor for a 95 will 'bolt-up' to a 92 3VZE. I believe Toyota switched from R-12 to R-134 for the 95 model year. Thanks again. I feel bad for this thead-jacking. I hope the OP has gotten answers to his questions.
