MarlinCrawler Shifter Seat
I am going to order one this week.
I have a few questions first.
Sometimes its hard to shift into certain gears, will this help at all?
doesnt always go into reverse all the way, will it help?
Is there a write up on how to do this?
If not how do i do it?
Im not familiar with shifter boots or working on manual trans.
any and all help is appriciated!

The install is cake:
Remove the shift console and or boot depending on your models trim.
Push down and twist the shifter retainer counterclockwise and shifter comes out.
At the bottom is your old bushing. I used forcips to remove mine because it was cracked into three pieces.
Mine shifts crisper after the install.
BTW It's also the perfect time to change your gearbox oil because you can pour it down through the top.

x2.
I had shifting problems for YEARS before I learned about this. It made HUGE difference in shifting into reverse! I'd had to "clutch & bang" for years and now I hardly EVER have to. If you have any problems when you get ready to do it, pm me & I'll talk you through it.

There are actually 4 boots. The top colored one, two rubber ones underneath that, then the little bitty ones that seal the shifters. Getting the carpet out of the way is kind of a pain, but once your pull it all back (use a screwdriver like you're taking a tire off the rim), it's cake.
Go ahead & order the plastic bushing that goes on the tip of the shifter as well.
