The magic dip stick....

Never seen this before, but my oil dip stick ejects itself from the dipstick tube about 2 or 3 inches after driving at highway speeds. It only recently started to happen, and I'm assuming it's a vaccum issue. Being a 3.slow, and having a million different vaccum lines, does anyone know which ones would directly affect the oil stick?
I already did the starter fluid check on the lines and got no change to the idle.
Anybody have any suggestions?

Check the pcv valve, if its stuck closed presure will build up in the engine and it can blow the dip stick out.

Check the rubber seal at the top of the dipstick itself - on my '95 it was cracked and brittle and didn't seal at all so it would pop out.

PCV, dam didn't think of that.... But I just replaced it, and it was a bear to do. Genuine Toyota part too, but I'll check it.
The dip stick rubber is soft and seals great... Thought of that the first time I noticed it was popping. Is that a replacable part, or do you have to get that whole dipstick.

Any other suggestions?

Knowing Toyota you'll have to buy the whole dipstick.

haha we had a 69 camaro we used to drag race with a 355 ci & 471 blower that used to do this. We just zip tied the stick from flying out. LMAO.
