Looking for a Nut.

OK, so I'm not home that often and even when I am, I don't have a lot of time to play with my truck, but I'm looking for a Nut, someone as Nutty as me about their truck in VA Beach. I don't care if you have experience or if you're still kinda green like I am. Someone that won't flake when I need them, cause I don't flake when I make plans. If a time and place is set, we stick to it. I can't afford to have someone break plans cause they wanna go see a movie (chances are I'll wanna see the movie too) cause I only get home every other weekend and don't have a lot of time when I do. *Gosh, this guy is demanding!!!* Yes I am... just can't seem to take the Marine outta me. I love having fun just like the rest of you, I just don't like my fun ruined by broken plans. I like working with someone on a project. Yes, I can have fun on my own, but it's just no fun that way If you're a Yota nut like I am, and you live in VA Beach or Norfolk or Chesapeake or, shoot let's just generalize it, the Hampton Roads or OBX, send me a PM or reply to this post. It'd be great to actually be part of a community that's not just online. And I think we all need a sounding board when it comes to the good idea, bad idea, or here's what I think department.
Joel

Seriously... I'm not playing around here... I know there are plenty of Yota drivers in my area, I see them all the time and most of them are jacked up trail horses, I know they didn't all just go to Pungo Offroad and have someone else do the work for them. We have too much pride for that, let alone the fact that even the military guys can't even afford their price, lol. Please, if you're interested in a project buddy, reply to this post or PM me so we can meet up and talk shop next time I'm home. And if you're thinking that I'm "funny," no, I'm not. I'm getting married to the greatest woman ever on Sept. 14th. She's just not all that interested in helping with my projects.

Just my opinion, but I think you are posting in the wrong place. This forum is usually about tech. questions, hence the title. When you say you are looking for a "nut," most folks probably assume you mean some nut on the truck that you cannot track down and overlook your post.

I have never really wandered beyond this board myself, but most of the forums I have been on have a specific place for chatting. You might want to look for it on these forums.

Good luck!
