Locked up engine

if you swapped flywheels, who knows maybe its not the same thickness at the mounting point. i cant think of anything besides that that would effect the operation of the motor doing a simple clutch job. even the disc in backwards if possible to even mount the pressure plate most likely wouldnt cause this. im curious to what it is when you find out

Right and that's similar to the problem I had and I had to shave down or find shorter headed bolts (the ones that hold the plate onto the back of the motor) that didn't hit the flywheel. If I didn't spin the engine after I put the flywheel and pressure plate back on, I would have never noticed it.

It's All fixed now! turns out that the bolt that holds the metal plate behind the flywheel on had a washer on it which made it stick out too far and caused the flywheel to be basically locked in place. Ill upload pics asap

And that was my initial thought. Only in my case I was using the correct bolts. Glad it was an easy fix.

I was also using the corret bolts ...i just dont know why i put that lock washer on it. Oh well.. you live and you learn
