LED Parking Light/Turn Signal Mod Complete

I finally figured out what I did wrong with my parking light mod, and got them to fire up and blink. Other than the fact that I used amber LEDs, they look pretty cool.

I'll post some daytime pics up soon. I used the "Light Tower" 1157 lamps from Autolumination Here are some videos.

Parking Lights/Hazard Lights

Hazards Only

Thanks to ToferUOP for hosting the vids.

Alright, I've got two small 1 second videos, one with parking lights on and hazard lights, one with just hazard lights. Where can I host those?

that looks awesome! are they still visible during the daytime as much as an incandescent bulb is? If so, I'll be ordering LED's tomorrow

The LEDs in the parkling lights are very visible because of the obvious change in color on the reflector. I had amber lenses on my front bumper with decent LEDs and whenever I'm turning right onto my street the person turning left waiting for me never seemed to notice my turn signal, and either huffed and puffed or flipped me off. On my way home today, I saw a lot fewer nasty glances and single digits.

Oh of course, autolumination just rolled out a new "light tower" that alternates from white parking light to amber turn signal. Perfect.

well, just bringing back this thread. One thing I realized tonight, this is an upgrade for aesthetics, but it is also an upgrade for safety. After driving all night in the snow, my whole bumper was covered in about a half inch of snow, blocking out the turn signals, but since I have turn signals in the parking lamps too, it didn't matter, people can still see what you are doing.

This is what I mean, bumper turns next to fog lights are blocked, while corner parking/turn lights are clear:
