Seems difficult for the 22re, mine was pretty slow. But my current DD 3.0, 5speed, 305/70r16...I definatly think it could be done.

My runner doesn't like going past 70! 5.29 gears with 33x12.50

 

I've done close to 90 in 4th before. It's pushing 5000+RPM. That was when I was trying for the 100 mark, and I gave up at 95, because it took like 20 seconds to get from 90 to 95, and I was running out of road .

There might be something to that 93MPH top speed in 4th, since it does seem to pull a little harder in 4th than 5th. Probably because 5th is geared to go faster, but the wind resistance is too much at that speed.

We once had a 93 pickup with 31's, and 22-RE, and it would do exactly 93, on the freeway, no more, and I'm pretty sure it would do it in 5th though. With the A/C on, the top speed was about 88MPH.
