Guys, I wanted to take a second to say Thank You for your input in older posts about The Old Man Emu upgrade. Only thing i have to do yet is stall the torsion bars, the springs an shocks are in and also the Airlift 1000 bags are in the springs in the rear.This was installed on my 1995 4RUNNER SR5 4x4.
I hope to post pics later on.
I also changed the oil, while changing the oil i changed to synthetic, my 3.0 says it likes 10W30,so I replaced with Mobil 1 10W30.
I noticed my oil pressure guage was good at startup....then when i parked it was at no reading.the engine is not naking any noises an no indicator lights came on.Prior to doing the oil change i flushed the engine..this is a regualr thing with me i have always flushed this engine every other oil change before i put the new filter on an add new oil.
I am a little woriied about the guage not reading, is it possible to install a regular gauge ,maybe the guage is faulty.
does anyone know anything about lost pressure when using synthetic oil?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know on the 3.0 but my 22re did that after changing the oil once and it just ended up being a bad connection at the sending unit. Check that out.

 

Where is that located?{sending unit connection}

 

I can't help you with the location of the oil sending unit for your 3.0 but I would like to see the pics of your OME stuff in your 95 Runner. I want to add the 2" lift coils in mine with new shocks as well. Where did you order it and how much? Thanks.

 

No Idea as well sir but maybe a 3.0 driver that knows will chime in. I'd try google images and see what you can find as far as location.

I had to order the airbags separate from Airlift,they are Airlift 1000.I have to put the torsion bars in yet an get the rig leveled out.But i am really impressed.
I will put OME on my 2003 4Runner after i get back to work,and also my 98 Tacoma too.

I am still concerned about this oil pressure thing, i did an oil change an switched to Mobil 1 High Milage synthetic oil, before i used a combination Castrol and lucas oil stabilizer an had good oil pressure even beofre i started using Lucas. But right after this oil change withthe switch to sythetic the oil pressure went to nothing on the pressure guage on the dash.

 

The 3VZE oil sending unit is on the block right above the oil filter.

 

Interested in hearing your feedback on the OME lift. I have been debating what lift to get for some time.
