There's some great area's up here, muskeg and some great trails from when the alaska highway was being built. I need to get my e-locker housing retrofitted for the elocker and some diff breathers before I get serious.

Thanks for the pics Johnny. How much brighter would you say those led reverse lights are than OEM?
Also, do you think you'll want to add auxiliary reverse light(s) too, or are you happy with your new leds?
And it's not in your head -- when your hubs are free, it's definitely quieter. I'd say at leas 25% or so on my rig.

the reverse lights are noticeably brighter, the housing behind them is like little mirrors that really reflect the light. Unlike the signal/brake lights, the reverse lights are not led, they are a standard bulb though.

the tail lights look very similar to first gen runner ones. Probably different tho, would love to get a set for my runner. Your LED lights make my Hella H4 conversion look like s**t !!! wish i would have seen those before i got the hellas. oh well, sweet truck man

the thing i like about the hella h4 conversion is that if i decide to go to HID it will be drop in and go, no need to modify the housing.

My biggest complaint has been my floor mats. I had the ones that came with it, the didn't fit so I tried a set that was in my parts yota, they both slipped around and wound up around the gas pedal/clutch at the worst time. I found these husky brand that are form fitted for our trucks that fit like a glove and do not budge, so much nicer:
Old ones:
New ones:
In other news, my wife and I are moving in September to Beaumont, Alberta just outside of Edmonton. I transferred within my company to be closer to my parents, right now it's a 12-13 hour drive, it will be under 5 when we move. Aside from being closer to my parents, I'm looking forward to the pick & pulls that are in Edmonton, and the house we have has a 3 car garage so I'll have lots of room.

Oh no, how could you not know Pokey?
Damn kids.
I like those floor mats. I could definitely use a pair. Muskeg bog mud is smelly like pooh. If you wheel in muskeg you are getting stuck which means tracking that into the cab.
First year up here my 4Runner smelled like manure for a couple months after wheeling season was over.

Ahhhhhhh, love the huskies!!! Aren't they wonderful
Just an FYI you might look at cutting the corner at your gas pedal, I had to trim some off it wasn't close to letting it go to the floor I wasn't to excited to do it but I had to.

I had a set in my company truck, I hit the brakes a little hard and I spilled some chinese food for staff lunch once and it all stayed in the husky liner, I was impressed, no one was any wiser after I scooped it all back into the containers (haha j\k about that last part). I'll have to check the fit near the gas pedal, looks like it's easy enough to trim if it comes to that.
