^^^, yep, i moved my window switches from the door to the center console, and every time i am in my wife's' Prius i reach to the middle console to control the window and the switch is on the door. I do the same in the truck, but reach for the door. One day i'll remember.

before, it was an fm transmitter. now, it's a direct line-in. much cleaner

I think he said that in this thread https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...ick-up-226739/
(I could be mistaken though it's been a while since I read it...)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's since swapped back in Toy seats... SR5 SEATS, that is, boooey! lol. From a 90's 4Runner or something? He'll fill ya in. They are EVERYWHERE in the yards... The ones you CAN NOT hardly find? 85-89 SR5 Buckets. They are quite different, but very close in looks.

here's my seat history:
1- bought the truck with split-bench
2- bought 93 mustang gt seats
3- installed driver mustang seat
4- installed passenger mustang seat
5- bought sr5 bucket seats
6- test-fit sr5 seats
7- re-installed mustang seats

the sr5 buckets i have are not a direct bolt-in. i'll need to clean them and make new bracketry. for now, though, the mustang buckets are nice

But, you're not slapping the SR5 seats in because you want to be 'anal' about the 'SR5' thing, right? I mean, you'd keep the stang seats if they're more comfy?

Just curious.... ; I thought you'd said "the SR5 seats suited you better/ergonomically"???

mustang seats= easy to fit in (already have brackets) and mostly comfy
sr5 seats= more difficult to fit, but more comfortable

if someone has pickup sr5 seats they want to trade me for, lemme know! otherwise, the brackets will be getting re-worked to fit my truck

any function of the window you want automatic will stay automatic (with my type of switch that i'm using). if you get a different type of switch (like one meant for automatic opening), then you can add in the second circuit for that feature. i don't have that circuit because i don't need it. the other circuit is very easy. it uses 2 automotive-type relays and some basic electrical skills

circuit

just keep the orange and blue lines in the middle (both positive) and get rid of everything to the right. the "87" terminal on each relay goes to each wire to the windo regulator

So when you did the dome light swap to the mirror.....does the rear dome light become just an inoperable ornament? Or is there a way to get both to work?
