i can answer that one... the stock one isnt that accurate, the big one is better, and hes actually got another one under the hood for maintenance.

Stock Isn't accurate? Whatcha mean? Did he do a cluster swap and the engines weren't the same or what? I use my stock one, and It seems to me its a little off, compared to the little sunpro I used to have, I shift at 5800 when I get on it, and I can hear the air cleaner sucking in the air, sounds like a squirrel in a vice grip.. I don't think two tachs are nessacary, why is there another under the hood for maitenence?, thats pointless.. The Ipod hookup is neat Idea though, just woulda done a cleaner install on that, and not punched my windshield..

not sure. but im used to my stock tach, hell im used to the sr5 cluster, im still pissed cuz the mileage isnt correct on it, i want it to read what my mileage actually is, which is about 280,000... but it looks a lot 'friendlier' than the big speedo one. im guessing the stock one jumped around too much. i dunno. i do agree with the one under the hood tho, its great for working on your rig by yourself. when u gotta set the idle, its a lot easier to look at the back corner of the engine bay than to keep goin back and forth from the door to the front, you know?

no its jeff dunham lol and the stock one jumps around and just stops working when ever it wants to the big one has a shift light so i know when to pedal when im under water and looking ahead and the one under the hood is for setting timing and everything else makes it easier when your doing this stuff by your self

and the hole was just made for the wires it gets coverd up so you dont even see it and the crack i didnt mean to do that it just happened lol but i fixed it up and guess what i think i just cracked my intake mani!! or i blew out the intake gasket but boy was it steaming like no other!!!!! but thats for a differnt thread

anyways i just tried her out and man does it work good!! can control it from anywhere in the truck and from out side the truck! and the back light shuts off after 10 secs so you dont even see it there!!!

as for the hood locks no not yet i still didnt even put the hood on it yet!! im glad to just cause of the coolant leak now!!! but yeah thats a differnt day and differnt happy place!
