if in fact u are running that rpm speed u are doing just fine.. that is normal... if it is wayyyyy lower like almost dying then keep checking around and i will see what i can see. also have u checked the TPS? May be that but if u are 750 800 u are right on it..

timing
o2 sensor
TPS
coolant sensors

are ALL major factors in loss/fuel economy

I have just went threw 2 years of 300K per tank woes .. replacing sensors , checking , tweeking .. ahhhh .. so I'm bald now .

I replaced almost every sensor .. EVERYTHING .. except airflow meter and computer .

I did some checkin' . I had the Original throtle body , which I cleaned , and thought I would set it up the TPS .. as per the factory specs .

problem is .. I cant get a consistant reading on the meter , because of the throttle shaft movement . my throttle body is toast ..

so I check all 3 that I have .. same thing .. I check the supra throttlebody im building .. no play . DANG ..it's perfect ...

I check with toyota .. part # 22210-35150 replacement .. NO LONGER AVALIABLE ... this sucks ..

sorry for the long wind .. but I forund a good throttle body ..finally .. set it up with my ohm. meter , and seems to work good now ..

3 days now and I have already noticed an improovement in my fuel economy .

What was your tps like when u took it off outa curiosity? Mine doesnt snap back all the way when i wind and release it.. it always snaps back slowly and to a different spot.. I cleaned it up and I think it worked better for a bit but now i think its back to its old tricks...
